You'll be responsible for:
* Assists with developing detailed plans taking full cognisance of logistics/site/project constraints.
* Interfaces with Project Team, contributes to the production of the weekly progress report to the project team and understand functional obligations under form of contract.
* Reviews and captures productivity to measure progress.
* Develops effective working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
* Incorporates sustainable design and procurement process within integrated programmes.
* Challenges and ensures health and safety through programme integration.
* Assists, establishes and oversees project work plans and deadlines.
* Undertakes tasks required to fulfil the requirements of the project/assignment.
* Works collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition, and shares responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.
You'll need to have:
* Basic competency to produce basic programmes and sequence plans with minimal supervision.
* Basic software user.
* Basic understanding in built environment and with projects.
* Basic understanding of different procurement routes and types and forms of contract.
* Able to respond to all client/stakeholder requests effectively and sensitively.
* Communicate & present to project team on programme drivers, goals & issues, etc.
* Further Qualifications, Certifications & Experience Essential Working towards professional qualification (e.g. CIOB, APM, PMI). Other relevant qualifications specific to local requirements.
You'll also have:
* Understanding of contract administration.
* Exposure to the principles or use of different types of contracts.
* Effective decision-making skills.
* Ability to challenge constructively.
* Working towards construction skills qualifications.
* General understanding of APM principles.
Note: This role will require 2-3 days travel between Newbury and London per week. SC security clearance is required for this role.
