Location: Leigh Service Centre
Rate of Pay: £12.56 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday
Role Type: Fixed Term until October 2025
Job Purpose:
To analyse the layout of all products within the branch and ensure that both the Automat & Manual line throughput is balanced. Relocate / Assign products to maintain warehouse efficiencies.
Key Accountabilities:
1. Operating Standards
* To analyse branch product Data Reports
* To accurately move stock from pick and reserve to new locations.
* To ensure processing of new lines to the pick and reserves.
* To audit work from all previous moves.
* To print off shelf edge labels using label software.
* To communicate with the Management team and all relevant staff members with all moves made with the warehouse.
* To meet all Health & Safety requirements.
* To ensure system housekeeping is to agreed standards at all times.
* To ensure all data is kept for reference.
* Communication with site automat engineer.
* To closely monitor product placement avoiding similar items.
* To promote good working practices.
1. Product Management
* Once sales have dropped, relocate product to a slower moving area.
* If the BOH is zero without sales for twelve weeks or more, remove shelf edge label and then un-assign from the Leonardo system.
* If BOH exists where no sales are present, recommend uplift / IWT to CR / OTC.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:
Essential
* Good communication skills – both written and verbal
* Able to interpret and analyse data
* Basic numeric and literacy
* PC Skills Microsoft Office
* Knowledge of warehouse systems (Sage)
* Knowledge of typical warehouse layout and control
* Health and Safety requirements within a warehouse environment
