As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a talented Field Service Engineer to join our team in West London.
Key Responsibilities for the Field Service Engineer:
1. Performing preventative maintenance activities according to documented schedules and standards, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
2. Diagnosing and resolving technical issues, escalating complex problems to product specialists or supervisors.
3. Collaborate closely with clients to understand their needs whilst ensuring adherence to Health, Safety & Environmental policies and procedures.
4. Act as a technical expert, offering guidance and support to customers and internal teams as needed.
5. Keep detailed records of service activities, including reports and documentation.
The successful Field Service Engineer:
1. Approximately 3 years of relevant experience in diagnosing and repairing power equipment.
2. City & Guilds level 3 or equivalent qualification in electrical engineering.
3. Strong technical skills, with a deep understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
4. Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to troubleshooting.
5. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
6. Flexibility to travel to customer sites as required and work independently with minimal supervision.
7. Availability for 24/7 call-out rota coverage (1 in 5 weeks).
