Overview of role Location: Belfast To co-ordinate and undertake all testing and assessment activities. To collate, sample, analyse and monitor the manufacturing processes and quality data within the manufacturing environment. To generate technical reports and provide qualitative and quantitative analysis of the processes and food environment. To generate and report quality data, to enable site to control and continuously improve product quality, food safety, and process control. A combination of laboratory, desktop and manufacturing based audit and sampling activity Primarily responsible for the collation, trending, interpretation and timely communication of quality and audit data. Generation of reports and action plans for quality and complaints to enable the technical and manufacturing teams to maintain and continuously improve product quality and safety. The Right Person Educated to fourth level in a food or science discipline or at least 1 years relevant food quality or laboratory experience. Understanding of the importance of food safety. Ability to analyse data, trend it and effectively communicate findings to the management. Competent user of Microsoft Office. Attention to detail. Ability to multi-task and prioritise workload. The ability to build effective working relationships with the wider site team. A positive and enthusiastic approach, with the ability to maintain focus and drive tasks through to completion.
