Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide remote and onsite technical support at client sites, including planning, deployment, and delivery of technical projects.
2. Carry out technical tasks for clients to ensure all proactive and reactive items are completed.
3. Assist with the planning and delivery of technical projects.
4. Attend proactive site visits for clients to ensure contractual obligations are met.
5. Attend reactive client site visits to resolve escalated technical issues.
6. Provide activity reports for all client visits to document work carried out.
7. Make technical recommendations to clients to improve their use of technology.
8. Work alongside the account manager to ensure consistent service delivery to clients.
9. Attend training programs to improve technical knowledge and personal development.
Knowledge and Experience:
1. Minimum of 3 years’ experience working within a Managed Service Provider (MSP) or VAR/Reseller as a Field/Support Engineer or in a Service Desk Environment.
2. Ability to build and maintain relationships with various stakeholders in different environments.
3. Experience in client-facing roles.
4. Ability to deliver tasks to meet deadlines.
5. Commitment to delivering work in line with best practices.
6. Up-to-date knowledge of the latest Microsoft Technologies, with essential knowledge of the Microsoft Cloud.
7. Intermediate-Advanced administration and troubleshooting skills in Microsoft 365/Office 365, Hyper-V, and other virtualization platforms.
8. Experience setting up and supporting on-premise server hardware and software, including Exchange, firewalls, antivirus, backup expertise, and networking skills.
9. Understanding of GDPR data privacy laws within the UK.
