Salary up to £34,000 per annum (DOE)

Working hours: Monday Thursday 06:00 - 15:30 (36 hours per week)

4 day working week, with flexibility to cover evenings on standby

The Role:

Our client currently has an opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer, specialising in mechanical and electrical, to join their Company.

You will be reporting to the Lead Maintenance Engineer, and you will be responsible for the safe and effective running of all plant and facilities on site. You will also act to diagnose and troubleshoot faults and rectify in a safe and timely manner to reduce production downtime.

The position is based on the AM shift which operates from 06:00 - 15:30 Monday - Thursday, with flexibility to cover the evenings on standby.

Job Responsibilities but not limited too:

1. Carrying out planned & reactive maintenance on the plant.
2. Adherence to the PPM schedule and accuracy of recording findings /requirements working against check sheet, with prompt escalation where required.
3. Fault finding and rectification.
4. Responsible for the smooth running of all facilities, plant and equipment at all times
