Specialist provision catering to young people aged 15-19 with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. They provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment that enables their students to thrive.
Job Summary:
They are seeking experienced and dedicated Learning Support Assistants to join their team. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting their students' learning and development, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.
Responsibilities:
1. Support students with SEMH needs in the classroom and during activities
2. Assist teachers in planning, delivering, and evaluating lessons
3. Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents
4. Provide emotional support and guidance to students as needed
5. Collaborate with other support staff to ensure a comprehensive approach to student support
Requirements:
1. Experience working with students with SEMH needs
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
3. Ability to work effectively in a team environment
4. Flexibility and adaptability in responding to changing situations
5. Commitment to providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment
Working Hours and Pay:
- Hours: 8:00 am - 3:30 pm
- Pay: £95 - £110 per day
