Job Overview: We are looking for a confident, reliable and punctual person to carry out viewings and inspections of properties across England, particularly focusing on the East and West Midlands. You will be responsible for compiling detailed reports, providing photographs and descriptions of the condition of properties. You will liaise and report back any issues to the office team who will manage your diary and schedule appointments on your behalf. Applicants should be able to work independently, be self-motivated and hold an excellent attention to detail. You must be able to demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills while upholding a high level of professionalism in order to leave a good lasting impression on our clients. You will play a part in building relationships with landlords, managing agents and clients in order to assist The Housing Network in its mission to provide "more than a roof" and deliver 10,000 units of safe and inspiring accommodation. Responsibilities & Duties: Reporting to the Head of Landlord Partnerships, the role requires you to be responsible for accurately reporting on the condition of new properties in order to ensure our occupants are provided with a safe and compliant home which meets company standards. You must be organised and able to follow instruction from our office team but also able to take initiative. Our office team will organise and oversee your diary schedule however it will be your responsibility to attend and complete all appointments in a timely manner. Other responsibilities may include completing ad-hoc tasks in order to assist colleagues within the department. Key Functions and Duties: Travelling between properties and locations across the East and West Midlands. Travelling across country when required. Conducting pre-tenancy and sign-off inspections of new properties Conducting company own Fire Risk Assessments and assessing property compliance in line with THN's Fire Safety Policy. Accurately reporting and recording property conditions, issues, repairs, damage and Health & Safety concerns. Collecting keys for new properties following sign-off. Stocking properties ahead of move-ins. Completing inventory and key collection reports. Answering any general queries from landlords and clients during inspections. Ad-hoc tasks as requested by colleagues in the team and other departments. Have a basic knowledge on the onboarding process within residential lettings. Have experience as an inventory clerk or property inspector. Be comfortable with lone working. Be willing to travel across country when required. Have a good understanding of customer service.
