About the Role
As an Export Certification Technician & Internal Auditor, you will be heavily involved in the administration & coordination of the Export policies and procedures and will be responsible for the internal auditing process.
Key Responsibilities
1. Ensuring supply chain maps in place for all products of animal origin are accurate
2. Validate batch details of the relevant materials at all stages in the supply chain
3. Match the correct batches of the relevant raw materials to the final product ensuring accurate trace on site
4. Verify the trace details gathered for accuracy and generate product trace packs for the export health certificate
5. Audit completion against the defined schedule with relevant evidence of compliance
6. Escalating food safety and legality issues identified during the audit process
7. Establish raw materials for which veterinary declarations will be required for each of the components
8. Review submitted declarations for compliance and accuracy
About You

Key Skills
1. Level 3 Food Safety certification
2. Extensive knowledge of internal auditing ideally within the food industry
3. A good understanding of the supply chain/chain of custody linked to products of animal origin
4. A good understanding of export health certification requirements
The role is based at our UK Poultry site in West Bromwich and the typical working hours are Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm.
