Job summary Medicines Management Administrator Accountable to: GP Prescribing Lead/ GP Partners/Medicines Manager/Practice Management Team. Ho urs: Thirty hours per week (permanent contract subject to successful probation period of six months) Salary: £22,819.00 per annum, whole-time equivalent (National Minimum Wage will apply for probation period) Job summary: Responsible for processing all prescription orders from patients via EPS or paper prescriptions for GP signing and authorisation. Good organisational and interpersonal skills will be required for the role. The ability to multi task and working to strict timescales will be essential. The ability to work well with other members of the team and to assist in the training of new staff may also be a requirement of the role. This role will be expected to work afternoons up until 18:30, Monday-Friday. They will also assist the Medicines Manager with administrative tasks. Ensure All Medicines Management Practice protocols are up to date and in line with statutory requirements and directives. Submit the monthly prescriptions to NHS Prescription Services. Attend relevant courses and training events. Run audits Collect data to monitor improvements.
