About us
We are looking for a Band 3 Senior Healthcare Assistant to join us in Children's Outpatients. You will need to be enthusiastic, motivated and a team player. The Children's outpatient department provides regional and local specialist tertiary clinics for children and young people up to the age of 18.

Person Specification
Qualifications / training required
* NVQ 3 in Health or Childcare or equivalent.
* Numeracy skills and Literacy skills at level 1 or 2 (or equivalent).
* Experienced and competent in additional clinical skills, as per job description.
Previous or relevant experience necessary
* Proven experience in a caring role.
* Understanding of acute hospital environment and the role of SHCA.
* Previous HCA experience.
* Previous experience of working with the general public.
Aptitudes and skills required
* Literacy and numeracy skills.
* Ability to communicate with a wide range of people.
* Ability to work as a team member.
* Ability to work under own initiative and prioritize workload.
* Ability to adjust to pressures of job.
* Good interpersonal skills.

Salary: £24,071 to £25,674 a year (Per annum - Pro rata)
