Be part of the Dreadnought Programme and contribute to the Active Vehicle Control System (AVCS) development for a UK sovereign submarine project. We're seeking Simulink Engineers for our Mission Systems team, based in the Northwest of England or East Yorkshire. Hybrid working is available.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop Human Machine Interface (HMI) and System Health Management systems using Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
Collaborate closely with BAES Submarines, working on Model-Based Design (MBD) integration.
Conduct requirements verification, documentation, and safety analysis.
Provide guidance and support within the team.
Essential Skills
Degree in STEM (e.g., Aeronautical, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Physics) or equivalent experience.
2-5 years of Systems Engineering experience in Display & Controls, System Health, and Data Management.
Proficiency in Mathworks tools (Simulink) and Microsoft Office.
