Role: Team Leader
Salary: £32,080 per annum
Location: Brudenell Road, Leeds
Hours: 40 hours per week, predominantly 12.5 hour daytime shifts with rotation of weekend working patterns.

Our work is varied and aims to promote easier access to healthcare and information. We partner with the NHS and other services and take on projects, carry out research, and raise awareness. We also deliver our own services to reach Deaf people in our shared language in their moment of need, through crisis text lines, domestic abuse support, therapy, advocacy and residential services.
Our service in Leeds is a brand-new service that will offer supported living services to 4 clients with complex needs who may present behaviour that can challenge. Some clients may be moving directly from inpatient hospitals.
About the role
Do you have experience of working in supported living services or residential care services?
Do you have experience of working with people with Learning Disabilities and/or Mental Health where diagnosis is complex and may present behaviour that can challenge with the passion to make a difference?
We would welcome your application if you are a Registered Learning Disability Nurse or Mental Health Nurse or hold a professional qualification in a related field but this is not essential.
You will work closely with the Registered Manager and management team in the coordination and management of the service to ensure the delivery of high standards of care to clients.
You will lead and supervise the staff team to deliver high quality care to achieve optimum quality of life outcomes for clients.
An awareness of the Registered Manager’s responsibilities will be required and at times deputise for the service.
You will maintain regular contact with external professions and multi-disciplinary teams in relation to the management of a clients care and support.
Do you have experience of working with people with varying degrees of deafness, including those who are culturally deaf?
Can you communicate in British Sign Language? Or do you have a willingness to learn BSL?
