Introducing an exciting opportunity to join the Finance team as Group Purchase Ledger Clerk.
Job Summary
* Processing high volume of supplier invoices.
* Raising the Purchase Orders.
* Setting up new Supplier Accounts.
* Setting up weekly payments run via BACS, PP or transfer payments.
* Steve Frankham expenses – paying credit card requisitions.
* Dealing with invoice queries.
* Assist with the Auditors.
* Supplier statement reconciliations.
* Preparing Steve Frankham’s Expenses.
* Any other ad hoc duties.
Role Requirements
* Previous experience in an Accounts Payable role.
* Be enthusiastic, proactive, flexible and adaptive in the pursuit of achieving the planned business goals and targets.
* Able to collaborate with job managers.
* Full understanding of purchase ledger.
* Confident and professional communication with internal customers.
* Effective working relationship with all levels and disciplines within the Group.
Key Skills
* Develop collaborative relationships with job managers in the business to ensure procedures are adhered to.
* Team player.
* Assist in planning the monthly purchase invoice processing and payment cycle.
* Able to use Microsoft Excel to a basic or intermediate level.
* Working knowledge of Workbench (training to be provided).
* Experience of accounting in an operational finance team.
* Experience of SAP Business One (Desirable).
