Job Overview I am excited to be recruiting for a Head of PMO to join the newly created SLT, reporting into the Major Projects Director. The Major Projects Head of PMO will lead a dedicated Major Projects PMO Team across multiple PMO disciplines – with the team’s purpose being to provide dedicated and value add support, insight, challenge, and assurance across our Portfolio of Capital ‘Major Projects’. They will ensure PMO services across governance, cost management, schedule management, information management, risk management, change management, reporting/lead insight and assurance are delivered effectively and to the right quality – with the combination of these services being a key enabler for the successful, timely and safe delivery of our projects and overall Portfolio. This is a really exciting opportunity to get involved in some of Southern Water’s most high profile projects such as the T2ST and SESRO ventures About You We are keen to hear from applicants who have a proven track record in leading multi-discipline PMO teams for large and complex Capital Programmes. You will have demonstrable people leadership, development and management skills and be confident working with stakeholders at all levels, including the Exec. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of core PMO disciplines / Project Controls from a systems (e.g. P6), controls (e.g. cost breakdown structures), data management, and performance (e.g. EVM) Executive Reporting/Insight perspective. Package This role will be full time Monday to Friday with a hybrid approach to working between our office in Durrington (Worthing) and home.
