The role will include:
* Supporting the implementation of all aspects of the Learning and Career Development strategy. This will include the development, implementation and procurement of an annual training plan.
* Supporting the design and delivery of a range of learning and career development interventions across the organisation, helping to improve organisational culture in line with our PRIDE values and MTW Leadership Behaviours and promoting Maidstone & Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust as the employer of choice.
* The post holder will support the Learning and Career Development Manager and wider team to commission and deliver individual, team and organisational development programmes and work streams including talent management, succession planning and associated engagement activities.

Qualifications
* Minimum Level 4 qualification in Education and Training, HR or Business
* Evidence of continuous personal development, e.g. attending courses
* Educated to degree level
* Membership of a professional body relating to Training and Development, e.g. Institute of Training and Occupational Learning (ITOL)
* Coaching and Mentoring qualification
Experience
* Experience in a HR/L&D/OD function
* Supporting the design, delivery and evaluation of training programmes and other learning and development interventions in a large multi-disciplinary organisation.
* Supporting the delivery of staff engagement events and activities including focus groups
* Demonstrable success in working collaboratively across professions, services and organisational boundaries.
* An awareness and understanding of the NHS, its structure and some of its priorities
* Experience of identifying learning and development needs, finding solutions, designing and delivering L&D activities including e-learning
* Monitoring, reviewing and evaluating the outcomes and impact of training interventions
* Engaging service users in enhancing the quality of learning provision
* Participation in operational planning and the construction of project management plans.
* Experience of managing external training providers/suppliers
* Involvement in administering an online learning system.
