This role will be based at our Pencoed facility. Your new role: As the Senior Finance Analyst you will be responsible for providing financial leadership and support to the EMEA Operations and Supply Chain organization. You will have specific responsibilities for supporting the monthly close, forecasting, and variance analysis and have responsibility for consolidating the results and preparing executive level reporting packages. You will play a key role in identifying and implementing Key Performance Indicators, developing annual operating plans and forecast updates, monitoring financial performance throughout the year and working closely with the Operations & Supply Chain leadership in order to achieve business goals and create shareholder value. What you’ll be doing: Serve as primary financial business partner to EMEA Supply Chain Director. Provide strategic support for EMEA Supply Chain Director as well as direct staff. Lead the monthly expense review process for budgets related to Warehousing, Freight, FG Scrap. Review actual monthly performance against budgets and provide variance commentary. Record necessary journal entries to properly reflect financial position. Lead the development of the AOP, multi-year strategic plan and periodic forecasts. Develop complex forecasting and analytical models with very large and disparate data sets. Assist with WW consolidation and analysis of supply chain results. Lead the development of Global Supply Chain KPIs and various strategic projects as needed. Strong business acumen to link complex models to business performance. Assist in monthly inventory reporting & forecast updates. Develop strong business partnerships to ensure budgets fully reflect the potential financial impact of ongoing costs and new business initiatives. Prepare presentations and analysis for senior leadership to relay understanding of business drivers and overall performance. Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators; identify opportunities for financial improvement and provide recommendations to management. Work with business partners to manage/drive cost savings and revenue opportunities. What you’ll need to succeed: A bachelor’s degree is required, preferably within the area of Accounting or Finance. A Professionally Qualified Accountant Accreditation (ACCA, ACA or CIMA) is essential. The candidate must possess the ability to partner with associates at all levels of the organization and have good communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. This position requires a highly motivated individual with strong analytical skills and intellectual curiosity.
