Maintenance Technician -EC&I

Currently,in Essex, Indaver is constructing the RivenhallFacility, which will process circa 595,000t of residual wasteper annum and produce electricity to power in the region of, 60,000homes. Indaver is now hiring 65 specialist personnel to maintainand operate this large scale process plant
TheMaintenance Technician (E&I) will be responsible for theexecution of all front line electrical, control system andinstrumentation maintenance activities across all of the process,building and site systems that comprise the Rivenhall facility, inaccordance with the operational requirements of the facility inorder to drive compliance and ensure high levels of operationalavailability of the facility
The MaintenanceTechnician will also be required to support the development of lessexperienced maintenance technicians and apprentices within themaintenance team, operating in a 24 hour/365 days per yearfacility
Role &Responsibilities
* Allworks are executed in accordance with Indaver’s Safe System of Workand the protection of people, plant and the environment are at thecore of every activity
* Ensure that all workactivities are executed safely
* Takeresponsibility for the safety ofothers
* Maintenance of the facility using bestIndaver/Industry practices in compliance with all relevantenvironmental, legal, license and internalnorms
* Collaborative delivery of maintenanceservices within the facility
* Sharing of bestpractices across the maintenance team
* Executionof all preventive, predictive and reactive maintenance activitiesacross the facility
* Execution of planned andunplanned shutdown activities
* Identification ofoperational improvement projects that simplify, standardise orimprove the operability, maintainability and/or compliance of thefacility
* Ensure projects are executed to a highstandard and any as-built modifications aredocumented
ExperienceRequired
* SVQ/HNC/HNDwith significant experience gained in a maintenance, constructionand/or engineering services environment
* Lowerqualifications will be considered when supported by significantdirectly applicable experience.
* Provenmaintenance experience within a complex operational environment(Oil & Gas, Power Generation, and IndustrialProcess)
* Minimum 2 years of relevantexperience
* Knowledge of Distributed ControlSystem and PLC’s would be an advantage, but not essential astraining will be provided
* Familiarity with Low,Medium and High Voltage switching and control equipment. Would bean advantage, but not essential as training will beprovided
* Knowledge of SAP would be anadvantage, but not essential as training will beprovided
* Knowledge and experience of complexintegrated plant and equipment commonly found within continuousprocess industries such as, power generation, cement industry andpetrochemicals
* Specific Furnace/Boiler and/orrotating equipment experience a distinctadvantage
