About the Opportunity:
The HVAC / Piping category focuses on issues relating to the heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and piped services of plants and buildings across the Sellafield site. The category uses a partner-led method for delivery of design services led by an Axiom Area Engineering Manager.
Engineering Management is required for multiple HVAC / Piping projects from initial scoping through to the Construction/Commissioning phases and ultimately to final handover with Plant Operations.
Duties will include:
1. Leading the development of the engineering elements of the project/task baseline scope, schedule and budget.
2. Coordinating delivery across disciplines.
3. Assessment of new items on the worklist and definition of the scope of work required.
4. Ensure work portfolio is delivered and controlled efficiently and effectively to meet agreed specification, cost and schedule.
5. Ensure status and performance of work is reported accurately and in a timely manner.
6. Lead production of design Quality Plans.
7. Lead co-ordination of LFE across the category.
8. Interfacing with design teams and stakeholders.
Here's What You'll Need:

2. Requirements derivation & validation through stakeholder engagement.
3. Demonstrate strong leadership behaviours to drive timely delivery of an engineering schedule to quality and cost.
4. Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills in the successful management of the interface between the client team and the integrated delivery team.
5. Demonstrable experience of delivering early phase scoping activities (requirements management, optioneering, etc.) and project initiation (execution planning, scope definition, schedule build, estimating, risk management) for multi-discipline asset care projects.
6. Developing 'fit for purpose' project execution strategies that are commensurate with a portfolio of asset care type work.
