As the EU Digital Marketing Manager, you will be the unifying force, connecting Ben & Jerry’s global digital channel strategy and EU regional and local campaign executions — including social media, creative and content, paid advertising, marketing technology, digital commerce, and analytics — empowering local marketeers with data driven best practices driving best in class results. This role is pivotal to ensuring our digital ecosystem thrives, our campaigns are impactful, and our local teams are equipped to innovate and succeed.
You will be a connector, collaborator, and enabler, aligning European markets’ digital strategies with local needs and execution, while championing best practices across markets. With your expertise, you’ll drive digital excellence and impact and ensure our brand continues to lead across digital channels while staying true to our brand and values. Including (but not limited to):
1. Operationalize local digital success for EU markets
2. Develop regional EU digital campaigns
3. Providing digital best practices for creation of the chunkiest, swirliest, digital and social assets
4. Digitizing euphoria on our brand website
5. Crunching the numbers through marketing analytics and insights

A successful EU Digital Marketing Manager will forge strong working relationships with the broader Ben & Jerry’s global and market teams. This will require strong alignment and coordination with the Global Digital Marketing team, but also includes EU Marketing and Innovation, Global Communications, Creative, Social Mission, and Web teams to effectively deliver against key business objectives.
The EU Digital Marketing Manager will operate from within the broader Digital Marketing team and partner with their team members to drive effective annual programs, foster innovation, and partner on marketing technology solutions all to ensure that digital is the driving force of EU marketing activities.
The EU Digital Marketing Manager will balance a data driven mindset with a scrappy and creative approach to bring to life the world’s most iconic ice cream brand. Through leaning into an always on testing and learning focus they will maintain sharp and cutting-edge digital executions that resonate within culture.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Local European Market Digital Strategy development: customize and localize Ben & Jerry’s Global Digital Strategy in partnership with EU Digital Marketers to meet global goals and JTBDs, while taking into account local market priorities and priority growth opportunities.
2. Unify Global Digital Disciplines for best-in-class local executions: Lead the integration of digital channels, global comms, marketing technology, advertising, creative content, digital commerce, and analytics to empower best-in-class local market campaigns.
3. Local Market Enablement: Serve as a key support resource for local digital marketers by providing tools, and strategic guidance to enable effective execution of campaigns tailored to local audiences.
4. Lead creative development briefing for new product campaigns to align with media plans, web, communications, and digital commerce needs.
5. Support holistic brand storytelling through owned digital cross-channel (social, .com, email, etc.) content ecosystem to deliver on the deliciously thumb-stopping Ben & Jerry’s experience through oversight of always on content.
6. Digital Commerce Growth: Support local teams in driving e-commerce initiatives, enhancing the customer journey, and optimizing product campaigns to drive ecomm awareness and action.
7. Collaborate with broader Digital Marketing and Web team to ensure EU needs are prioritized, supported, and rolled out effectively across all key pillars of marketing technology footprint including benjerry.com, CRM, and path to purchase solutions.
8. Digital Reporting and Performance Optimization: Monitor and report on EU digital performance metrics, using insights to and share actionable recommendations with local teams to enhance their efforts.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Digital Expertise
1. Bachelors degree in relevant subject or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
2. 4– 6 years in digital marketing role with demonstrated success of managing development of digital campaigns.
3. Experience managing agencies and vendors - experience in fast turn and large-scale content development a plus
4. Expert in digital and social media platforms and technology
5. Demonstrated understanding and experience in web development, digital commerce, SEO/SEM, Search, and analytics.
6. Solid knowledge of Social Media Platforms (Meta properties, TikTok, X, Snapchat etc.)
Passion for Ben & Jerry’s
1. Demonstrated understanding of company mission, goals and objectives.
2. Understanding and appreciation for agile working styles to meet evolving needs
3. Experience working in values-led organizations preferred
Track Record of High Performance
1. Excellent project management skills and initiative are required.
2. Ability to manage projects through complex stakeholder environments and competing priorities
3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
4. Must be flexible in high stress situations and be able to effectively trouble shoot.

Office environment
Travel expected for this position is approximately 20% of the time, but varies seasonally.
