We are currently recruiting Medical Receptionists for both full-time and part-time hours. As our Surgery is open from 08.00hrs to 18.30hrs, you must be able to either start at 08.00hrs or finish at 18.30hrs.
You will be part of a large team that supports the clinical staff by signposting patients to the right service that meets their needs. Your day will be varied from greeting patients at the reception desk, answering queries, handling telephone calls in our call centre, working alongside the GPs processing requests for appointments and signposting patients to a range of services; no two days will be the same.
Whilst full training will be given, ideally you will have previously worked in a customer service role or a role dealing with the general public. You will also need to be computer literate and have good keyboard skills. This is a highly emotive role in a fast-paced environment, and therefore requires someone who can demonstrate empathy, compassion, and patience.
You will be supported by a team of supervisors and can expect a full training package.
We do not operate at weekends and bank holidays and can offer five weeks annual leave rising up to six weeks and an increasing sickness pay package.
We welcome any informal queries and visits.
