Acting as Procurement Lead responsible for nuclear projects you will work with cross-functional teams to build and execute project strategies, procurement plans, and contracting strategies for end-to-end delivery from concept to close.
As Part of the Global Supply Chain Solutions (GSCS) Project Procurement Team, the candidate will preferably have a strong Supply Chain (Strategy, RFx, Supplier Relationship, Contract Negotiation, and Contract Management) background with experience in purchasing of services and equipment for major projects, including Engineering Procurement Construction and Commissioning (EPCC).
You will be a direct interface to our internal customers: Business Unit, Engineering, Quality and Sales Departments, and Project Managers. You will have strong commercial relationship skills towards suppliers with the goal to provide clear, timely and innovative solutions to the organization’s requests.
An advanced level of spoken and written English, any additional language is a plus (Czech, Romanian, Polish, French, Italian, Spanish,…).
Ability to travel within Europe (10 to 20%).
Job Description:
* Responsible for defining a Procurement strategy according to the demand of the project and represent GSCS in a project team for any type of goods and services necessary for the project in compliance with the set requirements (cost, quality, deadline, etc.).
* Will provide guidance and recommendations to the stakeholders to ensure commercial compliance with regulatory requirements and Westinghouse's procurement policies and procedures are fully integrated into the project.
* Will be acting according to the demand from the project, he/she will be interacting with the different pillar of the GSCS organization to make sure a proper sourcing strategy is developed and deployed.
* Is responsible to report weekly / monthly progress on the GSCS procurement activities related to the project.
* Visibility on cost (Actual vs Budget) and Execution vs Plan.
* Will be the main contact for any external communication with suppliers.
* Take the ownership on Escalation process and Claims
* Work independently as part of a project team
* Interact autonomously with stakeholders (internal and external) to ensure compliance with the various milestones on its projects.
* Deliver savings on the overall project
* Responsible to develop a sourcing strategy
* Identify and capture the demand, identify potential suppliers, and establish a communication channel towards the suppliers.
* Establish pricing, delivery, terms and conditions to satisfy financial, quality and delivery requirements.
* Preparation and coordination of the RFx Process and establish sourcing strategies for suppliers and services:
* Preparation of Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA)
* Ensure compliance with regulatory requirement and Westinghouse´s Procurement policies and procedures.
* Leading Contract preparation and purchasing process.
* Utilization of Best-Cost Country Sourcing, with emphasis on middle/east Europe.
Skills & Knowledge:
* Within a complex Project, Develop and articulate the Procurement strategy according to the demand of the Project / Interface with other Pillar within GSCS and Stakeholders
* Analytical skills and capability to run reports and consolidate information
* Knowledge of IT (SAP, Excel advanced, Microsoft Office, Ariba, E-auction)

Qualifications:
* BA/BS/ME degree in business or engineering /Supply Chain Certification / Project Management knowledge.
* Min 4 years’ experience in Procurement.
* Analytical experience and good problem-solving skills
* Knowledge of technical purchasing and purchase order processes
* Procurement technical background & Contract Management
* General technical knowledge of the nuclear field and products is a plus
* Strong IT tools knowledge (SAP, ARIBA, E-E-Auction)
* Knowledge of project management tools
* Ability to write analytical and synthesis documents.
* Commercial knowledge and supplier relationship on Project execution (Source to Procure)
* Project Management skills
* Strategic & analytical orientation with ability to translate strategy into tangible operational results
* Experience in International sourcing
* Microsoft Project Expertise or similar systems a plus
* Strong Analytic experience & Good problem-solving ability and high attitude for ownership
* Good knowledge in Procurement technical background & Contract Management
