This fast-paced nationally recognised healthcare business is seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join its team on an interim basis. Responsibilities for the Credit Controller include:
1. Creating and upholding payment procedures and policies that ensure timely payment from all clients.
2. Proactively managing the debtor books across all legal entities to ensure prompt payment and early identification of any billing issues or queries
3. Managing collections in-line with weekly cash collection targets and supporting the Head of Operational Finance with accurate weekly cash collections forecasting
4. Responding promptly to all client queries
5. Maintaining strong controls and disciples over trade debtors, such as regularly reconciling accounts
6. Reducing average trade debtor days
7. Maintaining strong relationships with our clients
8. Preparing for, and running, the weekly Aged Debtor Review meetings and circulating actions to stakeholders
9. Collaborate with the Operational Finance team and the Sales/Ops teams to maximise business effectiveness.
Requirements for the Credit Controller:
10. Must be a personable, team player who is enthusiastic and keen to learn.
11. A keen eye for detail and a 'hands on' approach
12. Highly experienced in Credit Control
13. Experience of working with NHS/Local Government would be advantageous.
14. Deferred payment experience
15. Excellent reconciliation skills (predominantly Excel based)
