Key Responsibilities:
* System Commissioning: Lead the commissioning of advanced fire and security systems, including fire alarms, CCTV, access control, and intruder alarms, ensuring they meet the highest industry standards.
* Project Leadership: Oversee the technical aspects of projects, working closely with project engineers and installation teams to ensure successful delivery.
* Technical Expertise: Provide expert guidance and troubleshooting support during the installation and commissioning phases, resolving complex technical issues.
* Quality Assurance: Ensure all systems are commissioned to the highest standards, conducting thorough testing and validation processes.
* Client Engagement: Work closely with clients to understand their requirements, providing technical advice and ensuring their satisfaction with the installed systems.
* Documentation & Reporting: Prepare detailed commissioning reports, handover documentation, and as-built drawings.
* Training & Mentorship: Train and mentor junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them develop their skills.
* Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure all work adheres to health and safety regulations and company policies, maintaining a safe working environment.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in the fire and security industry, with a strong focus on commissioning and leading technical teams.
* Technical Skills: Extensive experience with the commissioning of fire alarms, CCTV, access control, and intruder alarm systems.
* Certifications: Relevant industry certifications (e.g., FIA, NSI, BAFE) are highly desirable.
* Leadership: Proven ability to lead and manage a team of engineers, with strong organizational and communication skills.
* Driving License: A valid UK driving license is essential.
