About the Role:
As a Finance Business Partner, you will play a crucial role in providing financial insight and support to key stakeholders across the business. You will be a trusted advisor, partnering with operational teams to drive performance improvement, support strategic decision-making, and ensure effective financial control. This is a challenging yet rewarding role that offers significant exposure to all aspects of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Partner with operational teams to understand their business drivers, challenges, and opportunities.
* Provide insightful financial analysis, including performance reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor and providing proactive financial guidance.
* Support the development and implementation of business strategies, providing financial modelling and analysis to evaluate potential investments and initiatives.
* Challenge existing processes and identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency and profitability.
* Contribute to the development of financial controls and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
* Prepare and present financial reports and presentations to senior management.
* Participate in ad-hoc projects and initiatives as required.
About You:
* Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent.
* Proven experience as a Finance Business Partner, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
* Proactive and results-oriented, with a strong drive to achieve targets and deliver value.
* Strong business acumen and commercial awareness.
* Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
