What You Will Be Doing:
* Perform all carpentry tasks, including framing, roofing, and finishing, to the highest quality standards.
* Work closely with other trades.
* Ensure all work adheres to building codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
* Read and interpret plans.
* Identify and solve construction-related problems or challenges during the project.
* Effectively communicate with clients and contractors.
* Observe health and safety protocols on-site.
* Provide guidance and mentorship to apprentice carpenters.
What Is Required Of You:
* Proven experience as a Senior Carpenter, with a preference for experience leading a small team.
* Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a team.
* Extensive knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools.
* Exceptional problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
* Full set of hand and power tools.
* Ability to read and interpret plans.
* Strong commitment to health and safety.
* Awareness of local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
* Class 1 driver's license and reliable transport.
* Valid Site Safe - we can assist with this.
* Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.
