Bringing it to the role. Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, you will support the day to day running of the Accounts Payable process alongside a team of 3 Accounts processing administrators. What you’ll do Support the invoice coding and approval process in the Basware P2P system. Preparation of weekly BACS & manual payment runs. Complete Periodic Statement Recs. Maintain the Supplier Master file and creation of new accounts in accordance to Yum Policy Liaising suppliers in order to resolve queries. Support AP Close & complete periodic Account Reconciliations. Reporting and analysis of aged creditors and debtors Actively seek out areas for process improvement to drive efficiency and enhance controls based on Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) Legislation. Support the Accounts Payable Manager with Department related Project work. Ad-Hoc duties to assist Accounts Payable and the wider financial control team as required. What we’d love from you About You Work well under pressure and the ability to manage their time effectively. Ability to deal effectively with personnel across all levels of the organization and external suppliers. Strong IT/Systems Literacy, particularly using MS Excel. A passion for Systems and Process, and an eye for spotting potential for improvement. A strong and proven desire to build know-how for yourself and for the organization. Experience Extensive Accounts payable experience Experience of Basware P2P & Oracle JD Edwards beneficial however not essential Experience of Multi-Currency Ledger and payments beneficial however not essential AAT Qualified or working towards qualification (beneficial).
