This is a fixed term appointment (February to August 2025) for 1 Senior Clinical Fellow position in the Renal Medicine department.
The Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital (NNUH) is recruiting Doctors with a passion for caring for patients with renal disease and general internal medicine.

Main duties of the job
1. Be attached to Langley ward and/or Renal Outlier team. To lead daily reviews of inpatients under the renal team under the overall supervision of the renal consultant.
2. Update and maintain the renal inpatient patient lists.
3. Participate in daily red to green meetings and attend weekend handover meetings.
4. Communicate with patients' relatives.
5. Supervise more junior medical colleagues.
6. Keep accurate patient records as required; these must be dated, timed and signed off appropriately and be easily identifiable.
7. Produce timely discharge letters, with accurate and comprehensive diagnoses, and supervise their production by more junior colleagues.
8. Participate in the management of occasional emergencies and in unforeseen circumstances at the request of an appropriate Consultant.
9. Agree to read and follow medical guidelines and policies.
10. Take part in Clinical Governance activity, including Clinical Audit.
11. Attend training and education sessions regularly in the department.
