We have a position opening for a part-time, working 63 hrs. over 2 weeks (1 shift week 1; 5 shifts week 2), Waking Nights Mental Health Support Worker/site security to join our team based in Weston super Mare, with occasional shifts in Bristol. For Weston, staff will provide in-house/on-site cover & CCTV monitoring. When working in Bristol, staff are also required to cover two nightly rounds by car. - All our staff work on 2-weekly rolling rotas, with this position currently covering Thursday night in week 1, and Wednesday through to Sunday nights of week 2, worked between 21:45 - 08.15.
A full, clean driving licence and relevant driving experience are essential for the position. We have company cars for work-based travel, but also pay a competitive mileage allowance for staff using their own car for work trips (by prior agreement and subject to adequate personal business use insurance cover).

The main duties of the waking nights role will include monitoring CCTV screens, driving by our sites 1-2 times throughout the night for a security/welfare check (Bristol only), being available for any overnight emergencies, as well as associated tasks such as cleaning and paperwork.
Salary/Contract: permanent contract; hourly pay £12.70, or £20,802.60 per year for this position (based on 31.5 hrs. worked per week/63 hrs. over two weeks).
