This established mixed animal practice is offering an exciting opportunity for a Large Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join the team which is currently made up of 3 Small Animal Vets, 5 Large Animal Vets, and 3 Nurses. The role involves a flexible mix of Farm Vet clinical work with dairy, beef, and sheep herds. Responsibilities cover all veterinary requirements for these herds and flocks, including reproduction—fertility and scanning, health plans, disease investigation, and more. Ideal candidates will have excellent communication skills and ideally have some experience working in a similar practice however this is not a requirement. The successful candidate will join a dynamic team seeking hardworking and caring vets who enjoy a diverse caseload. They will receive one-on-one support if needed, with active tuition provided for rapid development, along with associated supported CPD. There will also be opportunities for career progression within clinical and/or management roles in the future.
