Hospital Radio has been in operation since 1969 and is run entirely by a team of dedicated volunteers working in the booth and behind the scenes to produce and deliver quality radio to Plymouth and the surrounding areas.

Why We Want You
The administration volunteer helps keep Hospital Radio running smoothly. Supporting the Station Manager and other executive committee members, this role means that Hospital Radio can continue to flourish and look after its members. Helping with fundraising events, new volunteer registration, communications, and looking after the office are all essential tasks that mean that this role is interesting and varied.
What You Will Be Doing
* Supports with a variety of administration tasks including fundraising events, Assemble (volunteer database), member queries, new member registrations, helping with song requests, and volunteer communications.
* Liaises with the Station Manager and other committee members.
* May be asked to take minutes in team meetings.
* Ward/hospital visit once per fortnight.
* Attends at least 6 fundraising events per year.
The Skills You Need
* Able to work in a team.
* Be organised and have good attention to detail.
* Supportive of other volunteers.
* Punctual and dependable.
* Excellent communication skills including a good standard of oral English.
* Have a professional and friendly demeanour.
