You will be responsible for providing ongoing care to patients allocated to you, and hold the responsibility as Responsible Clinician where appropriate. Some other significant aspects of your role are assessment of service-users brought in on a Section 136 to the Place of Safety at the hospital. You will also be asked to run a clinic for HIV positive patients presenting with mental health issues.
You will be expected to work as part of the wider medical team across the service for mutual cover arrangements and to contribute to the general adult consultant on-call rota.
