We have a fantastic opportunity for a Mental Health & Wellbeing Coordinator to join the Mental Health team at HMP Leeds, a category B male prison located in Leeds city centre. We have a free onsite car park, as well as excellent public transport links.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a wide range of mental health patients, and make a real difference!
No 2 days are the same in this challenging, yet rewarding and supportive environment.
Hours: This is a full time role, 37.5 hours per week, working 08:00 - 16:00 Monday to Friday.
Salary: This position is full time, you’ll receive an annual salary of £28,247 - £32,346 per annum - depending on experience.

What you'll be doing
As our new Mental Health & Wellbeing Coordinator, your responsibilities will vary. Some of your duties will include:
* Work with mental health patients across the wings
* Facilitate 1-1 sessions with mental health patients
* Facilitate mental health groups weekly
* Be a key part of the mental health nursing team - assisting nurses and reporting back on findings and assessments
* Be responsible for annual mental health monitoring, including ECGs and bloods
* Run patient forums, and support healthcare champions on the wings
* Carry out wellbeing assessments
* Ensure continuity of care for all patients, and deliver outstanding care at all times
* Contribute to, and implement care packages, assist with health promotion, wellbeing and clinics

* Have knowledge of mental health issues
