My client is a forward-thinking, charitable organisation based in Loughborough. They are a small, friendly team and can offer the successful candidate a flexible approach to working.
Job Description
The Finance Manager will:
1. Manage the day-to-day finance operations of the organisation
2. Oversee two direct reports
3. Be responsible for all finance processes, external and statutory reporting
4. Manage tax compliance including VAT procedures and VAT returns
5. Produce month-end accruals and prepayments
6. Handle supplier management
7. Undertake any other duties as requested by the Head of Finance
The Successful Applicant
1. Have demonstrated experience working in a similar role
2. Have experience building excellent working relationships with non-financial stakeholders
3. Possess high technical competence and a keen eye for detail
4. Be available for a start in March
5. Be a team player and have a hands-on attitude
What's on Offer
An initial 4-month contract + 3 days home working + an hourly rate of £18-20 p/h + the opportunity to work in a fantastic charitable business.
