Senior Finance Analyst - Third Party Brands
Job Description
Summary
We are looking for a dynamic Senior Commercial Finance Analyst for Third Party Brands. This key role provides financial insight and support to the Brands Leadership Team and the Central Finance teams. You will be responsible for providing financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting for Third Party Brands, collaborating closely with buying, merchandising, and planning functions to support business decision-making and drive commercial success. You will be involved in weekly trading activities, monthly forecasting cycles, the yearly budget and long-term plan.
To stay close to customers, our support teams are in the office three days a week as we believe that skills are developed through collaboration, and that spending time together makes us more creative and connected.
What you'll do
Your key accountabilities will include:
* Drive financial performance through detailed analysis of key metrics (sales, gross sales margin, stock levels) including weekly trade reporting.
* Act as a key business partner to the Concessions lead, providing support on month end activities and the forecasting process.
* Support with the preparation of annual budgets and monthly reforecasts ensuring alignment with overall business goals and targets.
* Work alongside planning to support the network planning process. Prepare and review month end accruals.
* Actively contribute to the development of processes that drive efficiency and accuracy in the finance function. Managing Ad hoc queries including but not limited to sales and gross margin performance, invoicing, networking planning.
Who you are
Your skills and experience will include:
* Qualified or part qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) and relevant experience in a finance role.
* Ability to build strong relationships across the business and finance.
* Collaborative approach, with natural style that builds strong network with wider finance colleagues.
* Ability to influence non-finance colleagues at senior levels and constructively challenge.
* Willingness to challenge the status quo and an ability to manage change.
* Commercial awareness and excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail.
