Vogue Beds Group has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager to pursue and implement sales strategies with an emphasis on growing all areas of sales.
This role would suit an experienced sales professional, university educated, to develop and grow our sales ideally with relevant sector experience.
You will receive dedicated support from a highly skilled management team, giving you the best opportunity to support the aims of the business with the ability to grow by reputation.
The job is office-based at our HQ in Barwell, Leicestershire.
Business Development Manager Skills and Qualifications

* Strong leadership qualities to lead a team
* Technical skills to understand and propose products or solutions by focusing on the client’s requirements
* Solid IT skills and knowledge of necessary software applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other statistical analysis software
* The ability to motivate themselves and others
* A solid understanding of business and marketing principles
* Possessing a strong understanding of the company’s products, the competition in the industry, and positioning
* Attending conferences and events to build relationships with industry partners and staying up to date with new trends
* Creating sales forecasts and actively working towards reaching them
* Proven ability to achieve sales targets
* Warmth of character to nurture relationships with humour and honesty
Major Responsibilities
* Being the professional and knowledgeable face of the company
* Responsible for sales growth by value and volume supported by regular promotional activity
* Promoting the extensive product range directly with the sales team and website developers
* Strong understanding of the consultative sales process within a B2B and D2C environment
* Managing and organizing the sales team
* Maintaining accurate records and communicating opportunities and insights from the area

Experience: Business Development Manager: 2 years + (Required) within furniture sector: 2 years (preferred)
Education: University educated (Required)
UK driving license: Required – Access to own transport (Required)
Salary: Starting salary £35-£40k depending on experience plus bonuses
