You will be working for a large organisation in Portsmouth who are seeking a new Payroll Manager for their organisation. Sat within the HR team, you will have 2 direct reports and a line manage them.
Your new role
1. Management of full end-to-end payroll process and 2 direct reports
2. Drive processes that deliver effective payroll services in line withpliance and regulatory requirements
3. Accountable for payroll administration and coordinating the production of payroll reports
4. To accurately manage multiple payroll processes, including BACS payments
5. Reconciling PAYE accounts and making payments to HMRC
6. Perform all payroll reconciliations, checking and resolving any payroll related discrepancies
7. Manage and administer all payroll Year End processes (P60’s, P11d’s, PAYE, settlement agreements)
8. Resolving queries regarding payroll, expenses and tax
9. Responsibility for the auto-enrolment pension process and ongoingpliance, including legislative changes
10. Key contact for thepany pension schemes, responding to queries relating to payroll and payment of pensions
11. Lead the tax year-end tasks/project for payroll
What you'll need to succeed
12. Full right-to-work in the UK, with prior working experience within payroll in the UK
13. Leading on payroll systems and reporting
14. Expert within systems would be a preference.
15. Relevant qualifications such as CIPP, IPPM or PMI would be advantageous.
What you'll get in return
You will earn apetitive salary of up to £40,000 per annum.
