Due to the planned retirement of David Peel, Motus Group (UK) is commencing recruitment for the role of Managing Director for Pentagon Motor Group. Reporting to Rob Truscott, Chief Executive Officer of Motus in the UK, the role will be based at Pentagon’s Head Office in Derby.
Pentagon Motor Group was established in March 1991 with just one Vauxhall dealership in Derby. Today, the business operates 50 franchise outlets for 17 major brands, from 30 sites across the East & West Midlands, Flintshire, North West, Lancashire, Derbyshire, Staffordshire, South Yorkshire, Lincolnshire, South Lanarkshire plus a large corporate fleet supply and logistics operation just outside Derby. The group was acquired in 2017 by Motus UK (then Imperial).
The Managing Director for Pentagon, who is also a member of the Motus UK Executive Board, has a team of directors reporting in, with 4 Brand Directors who are responsible for a portfolio of Brands each, and functional directors.
The Position
Visionary leadership for the Pentagon Motor Group division’s passenger car and LCV business operations, and to lead the development and implementation of the ongoing growth strategy in accordance with Motus & our brand partners’ strategic objectives.
