Qualified Electrician Foreman
CLC provide a national property maintenance service to a wide variety of clients in social housing, education, retail, commercial and hotel and leisure sectors.
Specification:
The suitable candidate should have the following qualifications & qualities:
1. Minimum City & Guilds Level 3
2. 18th Edition
3. Relevant experience within the electrical contracting industry
4. Current CSCS / ECS card
5. Clean driving licence
6. Conversant with all aspects of electrical installations and have significant experience within Retail Industrial and Commercial sectors
7. Testing & Inspection to 2391-52 (or Equivalent)
8. A knowledge of BMS, Fire Alarm & Data installations preferred but not essential
9. SSSTS or SMSTS preferred but not essential
Qualifications:
10. Approved Electrician/ Electrician JIB recognised qualifications
11. Proven experience in electrical work, with a strong understanding of electrical systems and current regulations
12. Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role is preferred
13. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure
14. Strong communication skills to interact with team members, clients, and management team
15. Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
16. Proficient in reading layouts drawings, schematics, and technical drawings
17. Familiarity with electrical test equipment and hand tools
18. Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and work in diverse environments
19. Valid full driver’s license

Responsibilities:
20. Lead a team of electricians and oversee their work to ensure high-quality installations, repairs, and maintenance
21. Collaborate with project managers and clients to understand project requirements and timelines
22. Plan and organise work schedules, assignments, and resources to meet project deadlines
23. Perform electrical installations, troubleshooting, and repairs as needed
24. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
25. Train and mentor apprentice’s, junior electricians, fostering skill development and a culture of continuous learning
26. Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and hours worked.
27. Manage inventory of materials and tools, and coordinate procurement as necessary
28. Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues efficiently
29. Carry out testing and inspecting/produce electrical certificates
