Job Description
Position Overview: As eCommerce Director - Partner Stores, you will be responsible for driving the growth and optimization of our partner online sales channels, ensuring an exceptional customer experience across all digital platforms. Your role will involve strategic planning, team leadership, and close collaboration with various departments to enhance our global e-commerce presence and achieve revenue goals. You will be responsible for developing and deploying a best practice playbook across our partner portfolio, leading and coaching your team to deliver a world class eCommerce experience for our partners and their fans.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive eCommerce strategy that aligns with Fanatics overall business objectives. Identify growth opportunities and set clear, actionable goals for the partner eCommerce team.
2. Revenue Growth: Drive online sales growth through strategic initiatives, including marketing campaigns, product assortment, pricing strategies and promotional activities. Analyse performance metrics and adjust strategies to optimize revenue.
3. Customer Experience: Ensure a seamless and engaging shopping experience for fans with best-in-class content and execution against key trading moments. Oversee website usability, search and functionality improvements to enhance user experience and drive fan satisfaction.
4. Partner Collaboration: Work closely with our partners to build winning strategies and operational plans to drive traffic, conversion and revenue growth.
5. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a large team of eCommerce professionals, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation, professional growth, and high performance.
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, merchandising, technology, operations and customer service teams to ensure alignment and integration of e-commerce strategies across all business functions.
7. Data Analysis: Utilize data and analytics to monitor e-commerce performance, track key metrics, and generate insights. Make data-driven decisions to optimize website performance, conversion rates, and overall sales.
8. Market Research: Stay abreast of e-commerce trends, competitor activities, and industry developments. Incorporate insights into strategic planning to maintain a competitive edge.
9. Budget Management: Develop and manage the eCommerce budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and achieving financial targets.
10. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies. Implement best practices to streamline workflows and enhance overall business performance.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, E-Commerce, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
2. Proven experience (8+ years) in e-commerce management, with a track record of driving online sales and enhancing customer experience on a global scale.
3. Strong leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams and fostering a collaborative work environment.
4. Deep understanding of e-commerce platforms, digital marketing strategies, and online sales techniques.
5. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
6. Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
7. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
8. Experience in the sports or retail industry is a plus.
