We are looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join our team on a temporary basis (to cover a period of maternity leave to early 2026) to support the delivery of a responsive and effective HR function, focusing on employee relations casework. You will be required to deliver expert advice and guidance to managers on a range of ER matters using a coaching approach.
You should have a comprehensive working knowledge of complex employee relations processes and specialist knowledge of up-to-date employment legislation and case law as well as HR best practice to deliver on this role. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships are also essential.
You will be required to demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with people at all levels, as well as being a good team player while possessing the ability to work autonomously. The ability to communicate sensitively with people in what can sometimes be difficult and highly emotive situations is essential.
To provide professional HR input to support CHCP CIC in ensuring the delivery of effective HR management and support. The post holder will have a defined portfolio of activity and will be required to deliver expert advice and guidance to managers on a range of ER matters using a coaching approach while also contributing to the development of the HR strategies, policies, and procedures for CHCP CIC and CHCP Group together with independent contractors. This will include a portfolio dealing with a range of employee-related issues.
