This post is part-time and permanent, working 14 hours per week. The salary stated above is the pro-rata amount, the full-time salary would be £30,408 to £33,249 per annum (incl. L.W.A)The Course Administrator role includes a wide range of administrative responsibilities in support of a portfolio of designated taught courses and subjects. Successful candidates will provide a professional and efficient information and advice service for students, maintaining accurate student profiles using the University’s student record system and paper-based files. There is a lot of contact with students and liaison with external agencies. They will participate in the administration of a wide range of registration and assessment activities, including working closely with academic staff to support them and our students.Candidates should have a good educational background coupled with administrative experience, be highly IT literate with excellent MS Office skills and have excellent written and oral communication skills. Candidates should be ‘customer focused’ with a friendly and positive attitude. Working within a busy team, the post holder will need to be able to multitask, organise and prioritise their own workload, exercise initiative and work well under pressure.Whilst there is some flexibility over when the 14 hours can be worked it will be a requirement that that the successful candidate will be able to work Fridays.
