The Best Connection LTD Group are currently recruiting for Transport Administrator to work for our new client based in Banbury .
This is an on-going immediate position with the potential to go permanent following a successful trial period.
Hours of work & Pay rate:
1. 06.00 - 14.00 Monday to Friday
2. You might be required to be able to work rotation shift
3. £13.35 per hour
4. Paid weekly!
Responsibilities:
5. Managing on site customer relationship, ensuring that communication is good and issues are highlighted and dealt with
6. Daily execution of the plan, ensuring all deliveries and collections are made on time in full
7. Managing reporting and management information, ensuring that all communication is timely, appropriate and targeted
8. Managing and controlling agency requirements and spend on a weekly basis, working with agency to ensure vehicles are manned up with fully trained drivers. Provide forecast, feedback and regular reviews on performance.
9. Understanding of Health & Safety on site
10. Ensure fleet is fully legally compliant, managing servicing program and repairs through agreed partners
Requirements:
11. Demonstrable experience in transport/logistics
12. Proved leadership to deliver a safety - first culture
13. Previous experience of high-volume transport operations and/or planning
14. Previous experience/knowledge of Transport Management system required
15. Strong communication skills both within the company and external customers.
