An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Band 7 Physiotherapist to join the Community MSK Assessment & Physiotherapy Service (CMAPS). The service includes MSK rehabilitation, First Contact Physiotherapy, Advanced Physiotherapy, and an administration team. We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Band 7 Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist / Clinical Team Leader to join our physiotherapy service full-time. The post will enable you to assess patients within a health centre setting, performing unsupervised, comprehensive assessments using a high level of clinical knowledge and experience, utilizing your clinical reasoning to manage a varied caseload with support from peers, APPs, and Clinical Lead. There are excellent CPD opportunities in a friendly and supportive environment that includes a weekly clinical support group, clinical supervision, and monthly IST. Successful applicants will have substantial postgraduate experience in musculoskeletal specialties; will have experience in leading a team, a positive attitude, and excellent mentoring skills with inclusive and compassionate leadership.
Main duties of the job
* Undertake all MSK aspects of clinical duties as an autonomous practitioner acting as a specialist for MSK and seeking support when appropriate for non-MSK conditions or concerns.
* Support the Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioners and Therapy Leads in taking a lead role within the area of specialism, providing advanced therapy assessment and treatment of patients with diverse presentations and complex physical and psychological conditions. Be a source of expertise, identifying, analyzing, evaluating, and problem-solving to enable the development and delivery of individualized intervention and treatment programmes.

Qualifications
* Physiotherapy degree
* Evidence of postgraduate courses
* Injection Therapy qualification
* MSc qualification in clinical specialty or willingness to work towards this
* FCP accreditation
* Able to pass on skills and knowledge and act as a role model
* Ability to negotiate and influence
Skills & Experience
* Significant clinical experience at a senior level managing patients with complex needs within MSK specialty supported by evidence-based practice.
* Evidence of leading on small-scale change and/or contribution to large-scale redesign programmes.
* Evidence of active involvement in clinical governance including audit activity.
* Evidence of attendance at and delivery of in-service training/peer support.
* Excellent presentation skills.
* Experience of using various computer software systems and competent IT skills.
* Sound knowledge of information governance, complaints management, and raising concerns.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, with the possibility of lone working. Knowledge of risks associated with lone working.
* Prior experience in First Contact Practitioner role or working within a primary care setting.
Planning & Organisational Skills
* Ability to demonstrate advanced organisational and time management skills.
