Full-time, Temporary (12 months), 35.75 hours per week.

Location: Edinburgh International Climbing Arena: Ratho
Please note: Edinburgh International is not on a direct bus route from Edinburgh City Centre. Applicants must be able to commute to Edinburgh International Climbing Arena reliably: Ratho, South Platt Hill, Newbridge, EH28 8AA.

We are looking for a fun-loving people person with a great sense of humour to join our team as a Soft Play Supervisor.
At Europe’s largest indoor climbing arena, we provide an unforgettable experience for children and families. Our state-of-the-art facility is a world-class attraction where adventure meets adrenaline, and we need someone like you to help make every visit special.
As a Soft Play Supervisor, you will:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team while managing staff training, development, and performance to ensure outstanding customer service.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety in the soft play area.
- Engage with customers, addressing queries and concerns professionally.
- Plan and coordinate private parties and special events.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety, risk assessments, security regulations and protocols.
We’re looking for someone with:
- Strong leadership and teamwork skills, with supervisory experience preferred.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with customers, staff, and stakeholders.
- Strong organisational abilities to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment.
- A proactive attitude, problem-solving skills, and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
- Basic IT proficiency (MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook).
- A UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Opportunity available:
- EICA – 35.75 hours per week on a 2-week rolling rota (Monday to Sunday), with a mix of early and back shifts and every second weekend. Shifts range from the earliest start at 08:30 to the latest finish at 17:30.
