Role: Finance Manager Location: MansfieldHours - Full Time We are recruiting for a Finance Manager to join a well-established ans successful business based in Mansfield. The ideal candidate for the finance manager will manage the day-to-day operations of the purchase ledger team, ensuring smooth financial processes. Your responsibilities will include: Handling high-volume payments, ensuring invoices, payments, and queries are processed accurately and on time Leading and developing the team, including training, performance management, and ongoing support. Ensuring compliance with company policies, financial regulations, and industry best practices. Managing and resolving escalated issues, while implementing long-term solutions to improve efficiency. Overseeing financial processes across multiple systems to ensure accuracy and integration. Monitoring and reconciling accounts payable ledgers, identifying and resolving discrepancies promptly. Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers and other departments. Producing financial reports and insights to support decision-making and assess departmental performance. The ideal candidate for the Finance Manager role will have supervisory or management experience within a Finance Team, along with: Experience in a high-volume purchase ledger role. Knowledge of cash and banking reporting, including company expenses, internet banking, and bank reconciliations. A strong understanding of accounts payable processes and financial controls. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify areas for improvement. Experience in managing, training, and motivating a team to achieve success. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
