Engineering - Stores and Planning Coordinator

As an Engineering Stores and Planning Coordinator, your responsibility is to plan and schedule maintenance activities to ensure maximum equipment uptime and productivity. You will be responsible for creating effective maintenance schedules and issuing them to the plant’s maintenance team for delivery.
Engineering spares are effectively managed to ensure all spares are available to meet PPM planning requirements whilst ensuring costs are in line with budget.
1. Work with the engineering Team to manage effective stocks and spares.
2. Manage a monthly stores budget in line with forecast.
3. Issue purchase orders to suppliers and ensure financial compliance requirements are met.
4. Work with OEMs and local suppliers to get the most competitive prices.
5. Order and receive spares.
6. Maintain current stock levels and critical spare levels.
7. Use CMMS engineering management system to log and allocate spares, parts, and stock items.
8. Accurately manage stock including scheduled cycle count requirements.
9. Receive and check incoming spares and parts.
10. Create and maintain effective maintenance PPM schedule for the plant engineers.
11. Support Rich Products TPM program.
12. Carry out tasks required by the Senior Engineer.
13. Ensure compliance with company food safety, hygiene, and quality standards as appropriate to drive a quality food manufacturer, meeting Approved Codes of Practice (ACOPs) and legislative requirements of competent authorities.
14. Support Financial, H&S, and Food Safety Compliance audits.
15. Actively champion Health and Safety to ensure a safe working environment.
16. Comply with Rich Products Health and Safety policies and procedures at all times.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
Critical:
1. Understanding of engineering terminology.
2. Good knowledge of engineering components.
3. Understanding of engineering technical and OEM drawings.
4. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
5. Experience working in a stores/warehouse environment – Stock Control.
