This is an exciting opportunity to join Tecniq's team as a Manufacturing Engineer and contribute to the development of innovative solutions for the automotive industry.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and develop robust jigs, fixtures, manufacturing, and assembly tooling.
* Create fixtures/tooling for the assembly and manufacturing of components.
* Support the planning, installation, commissioning, try-out, and development of new tools and equipment for production.
* Develop and optimise new techniques and/or improved processes, materials, or products.
* Provide technical launch support for car build (prototype and production) at customer sites.
Requirements
* Extensive experience in Automotive product/tooling development and design.
* Experience in Design of Experiments (Taguchi methodology etc...) and the optimisation of manufacturing processes.
* Six Sigma Black Belt, desirable.
* Proficient in root cause analysis.
* Familiarity with tool, jig, and fixture design and manufacture is essential.
Estimated Salary: £65,000 - £85,000 per annum
Working Conditions
* Monday to Friday, 8am until 4:30pm working pattern.
* Overtime is occasionally available (dependent upon successfully completing probation and the requirements of the business).
