Within this role, you will use your experience in resource management and planning to ensure that our first line Fraud Operations team has the capability to serve our customers by translating commercial goals into resource plans. Working with the Operations Enablement Manager, you will bridge the gap between Fraud Operations and the rest of the business to understand future operational requirements. What you’ll be doing Responsible for ensuring effective communication between Fraud Operations and the wider business to ensure operational resource is aligned to commercial objectives. Ensure Fraud Operations is sufficiently resourced to handle commercial and operational demand. Translate commercial plans into resource requirements including new resource and multi-skilling of existing colleagues. Future proof the Fraud Operations team by mitigating the risk of inadequately trained resource through effective planning. Support first line operational teams plan for short- and long-term operational demands through horizon scanning of future activities and turn this into a clear plan to support the recruitment into Fraud Operations. Driving efficiency within Fraud Operations by aligning commercial and operational needs, ensuring the team is optimally resourced. Provide valuable insights and MI to improve decision making by identifying trends in fraud patterns and resource utilisation. We need you to have Proven experience in resource management, including resource allocation and onboarding, preferably within a retail banking environment. Strong communication skills and ability to challenge and influence stakeholders at various levels. Recent experience in strategic planning of large operational teams, preferably in a retail banking environment. Strong understanding of how resource planning can support commercial objectives Knowledge of Retail Banks products, distribution channels, customer types (retail and business mass market). It’s a bonus if you have but not essential Operational excellence awareness and experience. Strong knowledge of fraud typologies and processes within a retail banking environment.
