On behalf of Deutsche Bank, we are looking for a Payroll Administrator for a 6-month contract based in the bank’s Birmingham office on a hybrid working model of 3 days per week in the office and 2 from home.

Key Responsibilities
* Assist with the processing together with end-to-end control of each payroll run, and of annual pay rounds and vesting share awards.
* Entering employee amendments including starters, leavers, bank detail changes, personal data, ad hoc payments/deductions, tax record amendments on the payroll system – Systems, Applications and Products (SAP) Payroll/ Automatic Data Processing (ADP) GlobalView.
* Second level support for HR Direct, responding to payroll queries from UK and Ireland employees via telephone and e-mail.
* Validating and distributing Banker’s Automated Clearing Services (BACS) salary payments each month.
* Producing tax information on a monthly and annual basis (P45, Monthly Real Time Information (RTI) return, P60, P11d).
* Running regular and ad hoc reports from the payroll and accounts systems for HR and external auditors. General administrative tasks such as dealing with HMRC queries, assisting HR Advisors.
Skills and Qualifications
* Experienced payroller with the ability to perform manual pay calculations including an understanding of Tax and National Insurance.
* Strong administrative and interpersonal skills, as the role liaises with internal and external stakeholders.
* Strong analytic and Microsoft Excel skills.
* SAP Payroll experience (desired).
